Spieleabend: CATAN

Spieleabend is back every month in the GAI Ratskeller and for August, we’re bringing back our most popular game yet – CATAN!

Ready to embark on an epic adventure of trade, strategy, and conquest? Don’t miss our August Board Game Night featuring the beloved classic, CATAN! Gather your friends, roll the dice, and immerse yourself in the world of settlers and resource management. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a curious newcomer, it’s a chance to build, barter, and battle for supremacy in the vibrant world of CATAN. One of the most famous German board games and1995 Spiel des Jahres (Game of the Year) winner, this family-friendly game is beloved in Germany and here in the US.

Adult tickets include 2 beverages, and Youth and Children tickets include 1 beverage. Light bar snacks are included. Children 11 and under must be accompanied by an adult. Children 12 and older may be dropped off.

Want to practice your German language skills while you play? Let us know at registration and we’ll have dedicated German-language tables available. No previous CATAN experience or German-language skills are required. All are welcome!
