International Café

Kleiche meets Apfelkuchen at our International Café as we promote cultural exchange and understanding through music, dance, and baked goods! Iraqi hospitality requires tea and cookies, and a German Kaffeeklatch is not complete without Kuchen. Join us as we bring together Iraqi and German culture in a delicious way.

The Germanic-American Institute will host this joint celebration of culture and community in partnership with the Iraqi and American Reconciliation Project (IARP), a Minnesota nonprofit organization.

Entertainment:
Ishraqat Sumeria Art Group performs and celebrates the movement and music of Iraqi folklore from different regions across Iraq.

Edelweiss Dancers of St. Paul were founded in 1961 to promote the appreciation and preservation of German and Austrian heritage through the instruction and performance of folk dancing.

المقهى الدولي العراقي / الألماني

تلتقي الكليجا العراقية مع فطيرة التفاح الألمانية في المقهى الدولي حيث نشجع التبادل الثقافي والتفاهم من خلال الموسيقى والرقص والمخبوزات اللذيذة! بينما تتطلب الضيافة العراقية الشاي والبسكويت، لا يكتمل   الكافيكلاتش (القهوة والتحدّث) الألماني  بدون الكعكة.

انضموا إلينا حيث نجمع بين الثقافة العراقية والألمانية بطريقة لذيذة. سيشارك أيضًا أفراد الجالية العراقية بعض الرقصات والموسيقى العراقية التقليدية في احتفال حافل بالثقافة والمجتمع.

سيستضيف المعهد الألماني الأمريكي (GAI) بالشراكة مع IARP ، هذا الاحتفال المشترك للثقافة والمجتمع.
