Kinderfest: A German-inspired Spring Celebration at Arbeiter Brewing Co.

You’re invited to Kinderfest on Sunday, May 4—a family-friendly Maifest celebration with fun kids’ activities like mini Maypoles, flower crowns, and face painting. Enjoy food from Ruhland’s Strudel Haus (donating a portion of sales to Kinderstube) and support Kinderstube through Arbeiter’s register round-up!

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

Kinderstube:

• Mini books for sale, perfect for young readers
• Seed packets to help you start your own spring garden
• Face painting
• German/English book readings to immerse your little ones in language and culture
• Silent auction featuring Jonticraft kids’ furniture – don’t miss your chance to bid on unique and handmade pieces!

Half Pint Co.:

• A bouncy castle to jump, bounce, and have endless fun
• Spring-themed activities, including making your own May Day baskets
• A traditional Maypole to dance around and celebrate the season
• A kid-friendly version of the classic German game that must not be named (the one with the hammer and stump — but no nails involved, we promise!)

Arbeiter Brewing Co.:

• Don’t forget to round up your purchase at the register to support Kinderstübe. All proceeds will go toward purchasing materials for the school and teacher appreciation
• There’s a school supply donation collection box at Arbeiter (collection happening NOW through the end of the event)

Food Truck:

• Enjoy delicious treats from Ruhland’s Strudel Haus (check out their menu at thestrudelhaus.com)
