Swiss Teen Night: Heidi Reloaded

Switzerland is famous for towering Alps, Swiss cheese, milk chocolate, and the classic story, Heidi. Teens will learn about Swiss culture as they prep and eat cheese fondue and a Swiss dessert, and learn some phrases in Schwiizerdütsch (Swiss German). We’ll also be watching the award winning Swiss film, Vitus, about a boy genius who decides to escape from his parents’ big dreams for him and chase his own dreams with the help of his grandpa (Best Swiss Film of 2006).

The event will be in German and an intermediate to advanced language level is recommended. The registration fee is $45 for the four-hour event. Fondue dinner, drinks, dessert, and snacks are included.

For ages 13 to 17

COVID-19:
All attendees must show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19 or a negative COVID-19 PCR test taken within 48 hours of the event. Proof of vaccination includes a physical vaccination card or photo of the card on a mobile device that matches their photo ID. Proof of a negative test may be a printed or digital test result that matches their photo ID.
In alignment with the most current guidance, the GAI requires all guests and program participants, regardless of vaccination status, to wear a face covering that securely covers their nose and mouth while indoors when not eating or drinking. Bandanas and neck gaiters are not considered acceptable facial coverings.
