Willkommen zur Kinderstube!

Our program focuses on experiential learning in a play-based, German immersion preschool setting incorporating social and emotional learning in an American licensed preschool program.

We guide young learners in their journey through early childhood to enhance their innate capability and creativity, develop resilience, and experience joy through social play in a kind, welcoming German immersion community.

Kinderstube is the German language immersion preschool program of the Germanic-American Institute, a Minnesota non-profit organization. We offer our program at two convenient Twin Cities locations, Minneapolis and Saint Paul. Kinderstube is a fully licensed preschool program by the State of Minnesota for children ages 3 to 5 years old.
